Let's start the week off with these easy Lemon & Garlic Turkey Skewers.⁠⁠

You can just toss them on the grill for a delicious weeknight dinner!⁠⠀⁠⁠
⁠⠀⁠⁠
Try it with lettuce, red onion, chopped tomatoes and sliced cucumbers on a pita. Maybe some tzatziki too?!⁠⁠
⠀⁠⁠
Here’s the recipe:⁠⠀⁠⁠
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀⁠⁠
Ingredients:⁠⠀⁠⁠
5-6 wooden or metal skewers⁠⠀⁠⁠
450-550g turkey breast, cut into 1 ½ pieces⁠⠀⁠⁠
⅓ cup olive oil⁠⠀⁠⁠
Juice of 1 lemon⁠⠀⁠⁠
3 garlic cloves, minced or pressed⁠⠀⁠⁠
1 tsp kosher salt⁠⠀⁠⁠
Fresh ground pepper⁠⠀⁠⁠
Optional: Extra lemon, sliced in half for grilling and fresh oregano for garnish⁠⠀⁠⁠
Plating: pitas, lettuce, red onion, chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumbers⁠⠀⁠⁠
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀⁠⁠
Instructions:⁠⠀⁠⁠
1.If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 15-30 minutes before using. 2.Place turkey breast pieces in a container or ziploc bag.⁠⠀⁠⁠
3.Add olive oil, lemon juice, minced or pressed garlic cloves, kosher salt and a few grinds of pepper in a separate bowl. Whisk the marinade, until combined⁠⠀⁠⁠
4.Add marinade to turkey pieces, mix and let marinate in fridge for maximum 30 minutes.⁠⠀⁠⁠
5.Once you’re ready to grill, thread turkey pieces onto 5-6 skewers and pour leftover marinade onto skewers.⁠⠀⁠⁠
6.Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill 12-15 minutes, turning 2-3 times until turkey is cooked through (reaching an internal temperature of 165 F).⁠⠀⁠⁠

SO while daydreaming about beachy places I've been enjoying this TROPICAL BERRY GREENS SMOOTHIE BOWL made with @botanicahealth Perfect Greens!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Made right here in Canada, the Perfect Greens Berry flavour is my go-to for smoothies to make sure I get in my daily greens as it's packed with 7400mg of organic greens per scoop. It gives a great flavour to these smoothie bowls so here's how to make them - enjoy friends!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Makes 1 large or 2 small smoothie bowls:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients:
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup tropical fruit (pineapple, mango or other blend)
1/2 banana
1 1/2 cup almond milk (or other milk choice)
2 tbsp shredded coconut
1 scoop @botanicahealth Perfect Greens - Berry
Toppings: blueberries, shredded coconut, granola, kiwi
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Blend everything together in a blender, pour into a bowl and top with toppings. Enjoy!
