The whipped cream is a huge hit at family get-togethers. I haven’t tried the lemon/sugar on the fruit and I’ve only used berries thus far. I just put out a bowl of fruit and the whipped cream and it is all gone very quickly. I love that the whipped cream is not too sweet but deliciously creamy. Perfect. I have added lemon zest to it which gives it a little brightness since I have not used any lemon on the fruit. A keeper for sure. Kids (and adults) can’t get enough.

The whipped cream is indeed a lovely treat to top fresh fruit! And you only need a little bit to add just that bit of creaminess but still let the food stand out 🙂 I bet your father makes the most amazing fruit salads with the local and fresh fruit in Rome – what dream!

My father in Rome is the one who always makes the best fruit salads. We hardly have it with whipped cream, though, but maybe next time I’m there I’m going to “treat” them adding it to our summer fruit. Everything that is so simple yet so delicious has my undivided love!

Nothing says summer like a big bowl of fresh fruit! This definitely reminds me of my childhood. I remember picking fresh blueberries and eating them with a bit of sugar and milk. The whipped cream definitely takes it up a notch! Love it!
