Preheat the oven to 375F and place Brie into a baking dish. Score the top of the Brie lightly in a diagonal pattern with a sharp knife.
Add fresh blackberries, chopped walnuts and 2-3 tbsp liquid honey on the top of the cheese.
Bake the brie for 18-22 minutes or until cheese is starting to bubble and almost ooze out. Top with fresh basil and serve with crackers or toasted slices of baguette (crostini).
Notes
If you're serving this as more of a holiday appetizer during the cooler months, opt to use fresh thyme or fresh rosemary sprigs as a garnish instead of basil.
Preheat your oven to 400°F and slice your baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Brush the slices with olive oil on one hand and place on a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast for 10 minutes, making sure to flip the slices halfway through. Alternatively you could use a sourdough baguette to make the crostini.
If you can't find brie cheese, camembert will work too!
In a pinch you can use 3-4 tbsp blackberry jam instead of fresh blackberries.
You can use chopped pecans or chopped almonds as a substitute for walnuts if needed.
