Summer Picnic Charcuterie Board

Ingredients

Cheeses:

  • 2-3 types of cheese 600-700g of cheese total (favourite cheeses: brie, gouda, goat cheese, havarti, old cheddar or manchego)

Meat:

  • 2-3 types of sliced meats 400-500g sliced meat (favourites: prosciutto, spicy salami, chorizo)

Fruits:

  • 4 cups of fruit sliced if necessary (plums, figs, oranges, grapes, peaches, apricot or berries)

Jam:

  • ½ cup fruit jam fig, blueberry, apricot or strawberry

Crackers and bread:

  • 25-30 pieces of assorted crackers or breads
  • Extras: ½ - 1 cup nuts and/or dried fruit fresh herbs

Garnishes (optional)

  • fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by arranging the cheese on the board as well as the jam in a small vessel.
  • Then begin to fill in the remaining spots with slices of meat, fruit and crackers. Fill in any extra spots with nuts, dried fruit and/or (optional) fresh herbs.
  • Wrap it up in two layers, one plastic wrap and one layer of foil to keep everything secure. Store in the fridge until ready to pack for the picnic.
