What's In Season for September l cookinginmygenes.comEach new season and month of the year brings new colours, flavours and inspiration. I love to cook by the seasons; be inspired by what’s available in the markets and local stores; and, I have many favourite things I enjoy each season from recipes and kitchen tools to books and quotes, stores and restaurants, and accessories to name a few!

So, you’ll be hearing from me monthly with ‘What’s In Season’ and being it’s the first day of Fall, I’m sharing my Autumn favourites

this adorable pumpkin pie dish from Indigo

chocolate chip cookie smores bars from how sweet eats

totally Canadian shirt from roots

carrot cupcake tea from david’s tea

a beautiful book about friendship – the friday night knitting club

gorgeous fall wreaths by jones design company

Until the next cooking adventure,
Jess
