What's In Season - October Favourites l cookinginmygenes.com

Last month I started a new monthly feature called ‘What’s in Season’ where I’m sharing favourites from recipes and kitchen tools to books and quotes, stores and restaurants, and accessories to name a few!

As we move closer to November I’m starting to cook more soups and cozy up in the house a bit more often. So, here are my favourites from the past month…

I already have William’s Sonoma One Pot of The Day Cookbook BUT this newer Soup of the Day is next level

This cake is made with PARSNIPS! Seasonal ingredient cake with a Blood Orange Buttercream

Of course someone had to create reading socks – YES, cozy socks that one must wear when enjoying a great book

I’m also obsessed with copper everything like these beautiful measuring cups

All of the plaid! You’ll come to know my love for anything plaid…I just bought these gorgeous plaid mugs & can’t wait to use them

These DIY gold painted vases I think would look beautiful for the upcoming festive season!

Until the next cooking adventure,
Jess
