I’m feeling all the summertime vibes with the latest batch of recipes to make in June!

Recipes to Make in June

Each time I go to the market it just keeps getting better with the produce available.

I’m so excited to cook simply this summer with all of the amazing ingredients in season.

It’s hard to choose a favourite ingredient in the summertime; being able to go to the market or go out to my garden and just pick something fresh is so inspiring.

Recipes to Make in June

Last year I made this Quick Summer Green Salad Recipe with a lot of the produce I grew in my garden. Maybe it will make it to your lunch or dinner table this summer! Or, if you’re looking for some veggie growing tips based on my experience, get them in this post too.

Looking for some cookbook inspiration?

Two cookbooks I recently took out from the library that I’m loving are: Farm, Fire and Feast by Michael Smith and Old World Italian from Mimi Thorisson. Both are gorgeous, filled with recipes and also many stories! I love that the stories complement the recipes and makes the books go further than just a cookbook. If you want more insight into Michael Smith’s book, we visited his hotel on Prince Edward Island a few years ago and enjoyed some of the cookbook recipes there during the Fireworks Feast – its a must-visit for sure!

Berries – Blueberry Oatmeal Pancakes

Rhubarb – Strawberry Rhubarb Toasted Oat Sundaes

Strawberries – Strawberry Lemonade Rose Punch

Spinach – The Best Green Tropical Smoothie

Radishes – Easy Breakfast Tacos

Can I just say the Easy Breakfast Tacos also make a delicious and easy dinner?!

Enjoy friends!

Until the next cooking adventure,
Jess
