What’s In Season – Holiday Favourites

Published: December 1, 2019 | Updated: December 1, 2019 | By Jess | Leave a Comment

We’re into the full swing of the holiday season and I’m loving it!

Just give me everything cranberry, lots of holiday movies and Christmas carols galore.

So, to help you get ready for the season I’m sharing my holidays favourites including what to bake, cocktails to make and holiday recipes for gatherings!

Most weekends during this season you can find me baking holiday treats in the kitchen while Christmas movies like Elf, Love Actually and Home Alone play. So, what do you have on your baking list?

Holiday Baking

My Holiday Baking List

Nanaimo Bars

Lemon Squares

Chocolate Pretzel Bars

Party Chocolate Bark

Recipes Made for Sharing

Whether getting together for wine and cheese, brunch or dinner, these are some of my favourite recipes for holiday get-togethers:

Festive Market Cheeseboard

Cranberry Pear Chia Seed Jam (for all your cheeseboard needs and makes a great gift!)

Mushroom Tart

Sheet Pan Roasted Carrots, Brussels Sprouts and Potatoes

Easy Baked Croissant French Toast

And, we can’t forget something to cheers with!

Holiday Cocktails

Cranberry Rosé Fizz

Kombucha Cranberry Bourbon Smash

Minty Cucumber Gin Spritz

Pear Cider Sangria

Spiced Winter Punch

And, check out this great round-up of cocktails for winter entertaining from Food Bloggers of Canada too.

It’s not too early to start planning for New Year’s Eve either, so, if you’re having guests over check out my New Year’s Eve Party Menu! You’ll find sweet and savoury bites plus a Ginger Honey Sparkler mocktail that can also be made into a cocktail by adding some champagne to celebrate!

Until the next cooking adventure,
Jess
